Daniel Amartey and Salisu Mohammed report to Ghana camp in France ahead of Brazil friendly

The Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday, September 20, continued the preparations for the international friendly match against Brazil later this week.

The team trained with 25 players including Richard Ofori and Felix Afena-Gyan who arrived earlier in the day.

This evening, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has disclosed that England-based duo Daniel Amartey and Salisu Mohammed have arrived in the camp of the Black Stars.

“Daniel Amartey and Salisu Mohammed have teamed up with the rest of the squad in Deauville- France for the International friendly against Brazil on Friday.

“The duo touched down in Paris around 16:00Hrs and were quickly taken to the team Hotel in Deauville. Their arrival means Coach Otto Addo is spoilt for choice in Central defence as Ghana builds up to the two games against Brazil and Nicaragua,” a Ghana FA statement has said.

The two players will not be able to train this evening but will be involved on Wednesday when preparations for the upcoming friendlies continue in Deauville.

Ghana will test its strength in a high-profile friendly against Brazil on Friday, September 23.

Later on Tuesday, September 27, the Black Stars will lock horns with Nicaragua in another friendly to be staged in Lorca, Spain.
