Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey hoping to mark Black Stars debut in game against Brazil

New Ghana player, Tariq Lamptey has indicated that he is looking forward to the upcoming match against Brazil.

The versatile defender is one of 27 players in the camp of the Black Stars today in France.

Speaking to the communications team of the Ghana Football Association, Tariq Lamptey has shared that training for the Brazil game is progressing very well.

He gives the indication that he would love to have the chance to debut for the Black Stars in the game against Brazil.

“Training has been really good. Getting t know everybody. There is very high quality here and we are working hard in training and listening to what the coach has to say.

“I’m looking forward to the game on Friday. In this game, we are preparing very well and we all want to be ready for Friday,” the Brighton & Hove Albion defender indicated.

The upcoming international friendly match between Ghana and Brazil will be played in Le Havre, France, on September 23, 2022.

Later on Tuesday, September 27, Ghana will face off with Nicaragua in another friendly match scheduled to be staged in Spain.
