We will improve our finishing – Asante Kotoko coach Seydou Zerbo after 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak

Asante Kotoko head coach, Seydou Zerbo has vowed to improve his striker after a 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak in the matchday 3 games at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors put out a spirited performance when they shared the spoils with their sworn rivals at the Baba Yara stadium.

Yussif Mubarik scored on the 57th minute before Caleb Amankwah scored late to snatch a point for the Phobians.

Kotoko despite the numerous chances created failed to find the back of the net.

At the post-match conference, the Burkinabe trainer rue missed chances in the game, saying they must work to improve on their scoring ability.

“Yes last week, we all saw the performance of the players it was very disappointing but today, they showed that indeed they are here for action,” he said.

“We still need to work on our finishing, you saw that we had a lot of chances but unfortunately we couldn’t use them but we will go back and work to utilize our chances in subsequent games,” he added.
