Accra:The General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has criticized Pastor Mensa Otabil, the founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), for his alleged comments on the prophetic ministry.
According to Ghana Web, Rev Owusu Bempah, speaking to his congregation on November 2, 2026, claimed that Pastor Otabil had suggested that the prophetic ministry was outdated. He further alleged that Pastor Otabil had remarked that about 90 percent of prophets in Ghana were fake, with only a few being genuine.
Rev Owusu Bempah reacted strongly to these alleged comments, accusing Pastor Otabil of undermining the prophetic ministry. He warned that Pastor Otabil's conduct needed to be checked, stating that there is an individual in the country who aims to quench the prophetic fire. He described the actions of Pastor Otabil as fooling and misbehaving, stressing the need for intervention to prevent further occurrences.
