Baku:Delta State Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly addressed the ongoing speculation about his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, and their marriage. He issued a firm public appeal and warning to those spreading false information about her.
According to Ghana Web, Nwoko urged Regina's fans, friends, bloggers, and social media commentators to allow the actress space to heal, emphasizing that online harassment is complicating her recovery. He highlighted that Regina has faced significant challenges and needs love, support, and the opportunity to recover.
Nwoko acknowledged a video shared by Regina on her birthday, which provided insight into her health issues, and called for compassion rather than judgment from the public. He criticized those spreading false stories about his wife, stating that fabricated death announcements and misleading health reports are harmful and distressing to Regina.
Furthermore, Nwoko confirmed that his team is documenting such false publications and warned that individuals responsible would face legal consequences. He stressed that the spread of false information about Regina, particularly concerning her health and personal circumstances, would not be tolerated.
Earlier reports from Legit.ng revealed that Regina Daniels disclosed her struggles with severe pain, swollen and weakened legs, and mobility issues, which have left her reliant on a wheelchair. Her appearance in a wheelchair during her 25th birthday sparked widespread concern on social media about her health and well-being. Nwoko's statement comes months after their marriage was the subject of public scrutiny amid rumors of a crisis between the couple.
