Kumasi: What began as ordinary phone calls, data purchases, and mobile transactions ended in an extraordinary reward for three MTN Ghana customers, who are now proud owners of brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados. Madam Faustina Asante, Wasila Mahama, and Halidu Tanko could hardly have imagined that their routine transactions on the MTN network would eventually put them behind the wheels of luxury vehicles. According to Ghana News Agency, the three were among lucky customers rewarded by MTN Ghana under its MTN@30 anniversary promotion at a ceremony in Kumasi. The promotion, which formed part of activities marking the telecommunications company's 30 years of operations in Ghana, was designed to reward customers for their loyalty and continued patronage of the network. Mr. Simon Amoh, Senior Manager, General Trade, MTN Northern Business District, highlighted that unlike other promotions requiring additional registration or special activities, the MTN@30 promo was made straightforward. Customers only needed to continue their usual activities on the network, such as recharging, purchasing data, and transacting on MTN's mobile platforms, to stand a chance of winning. "For the past three months, we have been rewarding our customers with prizes ranging from Land Cruiser Prados to about GHS 30,000.00 in cash," he stated. Mr. Amoh noted that the latest presentation marked the final batch of prizes under the promotion, which had already produced three other winners who received brand-new Land Cruiser Prados the previous month. He emphasized that the initiative was MTN's way of expressing gratitude to its customers for their contribution to the company's growth over the past 30 years. He acknowledged that the milestone was not solely about MTN but also about the more than 32 million Ghanaians who had helped build the business through their continued patronage. Customers, partners, stakeholders, and employees have collectively shaped the company's journey, with MTN's network becoming integral to the daily lives of individ uals, families, and businesses across the country. "Thirty years of progress powered by union," Mr. Amoh remarked, reflecting the deep appreciation for everyone who has been part of MTN's journey. He congratulated the three winners, describing their prizes as MTN's recognition of their trust and loyalty over the years. Although the MTN@30 promotion has officially concluded, the company is finalizing the last prize presentations to ensure that the anniversary journey of appreciation ends on a grand note. For Madam Asante, Ms. Mahama, and Mr. Tanko, the ceremony marked more than just another anniversary event; it transformed their everyday use of a mobile network into a life-changing reward. The three winners took possession of their vehicles amid excitement, bringing the MTN@30 promotional activities in Kumasi to a memorable close.
