Accra: A group of construction workers received an unexpected surprise while digging the foundation for a building when they uncovered multiple skeletons. The workers were taken aback to discover two skeletons on land not designated as a cemetery.
According to Ghana Web, the workers identified one skeleton as male and the other as female. A video from the scene, which has gone viral, shows the skeletons situated in separate trenches within the construction site. Various parts of the skeletons, including skulls and bones, were visibly scattered across the area.
In the footage, one worker points out, 'This is a skull, this is the jaw. These are the clothes they were buried in.' Another worker can be heard distinguishing between the skeletons, stating, 'This is the man, the woman is the one at the other end.'
The exact location of the construction site remains unclear, although the workers in the video are speaking the Twi dialect, suggesting it may be in a region where this language is prevalent. The discovery has led to speculation among social media users, with some suggesting that the site may be an unintentional disturbance of a crime scene or an old graveyard.
