Accra: NDC communicator, Theophilus Dzimega, has raised concerns about the legal strategy in the ongoing case involving Chairman Wontumi. Dzimega argued that every legal battle must begin with a clear objective, which he believes is lacking in this case.
According to Ghana Web, Dzimega expressed uncertainty about the direction of the case and the goals of those managing it. He criticized the strategy being employed, suggesting it might have been flawed from the outset. "We don't know what the end game will be. And I keep asking, what the end game will be," Dzimega stated during an appearance on New Day on TV3.
Drawing from his legal background, Dzimega emphasized the importance of assessing the strength of evidence and determining the most effective path before proceeding with a legal case. He likened the process to strategizing in a game, stressing the necessity of having a clear plan. "When you get a case, just like in football or any game, the first question you should be asking yourself is, what is my strategy? How am I going to go about this?" he questioned, highlighting the critical nature of strategic planning.
Dzimega further noted that a lawyer's strategy can significantly influence the outcome of legal battles, underscoring the importance of understanding objectives from the start.
