We Must Sweep All 47 Seats in Ashanti for Bawumia, Says Bonsu-Kyeretwie

Accra: Aspiring Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie Esq., has outlined his primary goal of fortifying the party's electoral framework to ensure victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and all 47 parliamentary candidates in the Ashanti Region.

According to Ghana Web, Mr. Bonsu-Kyeretwie emphasized, during an interview on Angel FM in Kumasi, that his ambition to serve is motivated by the party's success rather than personal gain. He stated, "Everyone comes to me, and I have never taken anything from a party member. I want my people to vote because my first vision is for the party to win."

The aspiring regional executive highlighted his extensive experience within the party, having previously served as the party's Communication Officer and Second Vice Chairman. He believes these roles have equipped him with the necessary experience to contribute more effectively if elected Deputy Regional Secretary. Mr. Bonsu-Kyeretwie remarked, "I worked hard for the party to win elections, but the party could not. I believe when I get a greater influence in the party, I will be highly effective."

Mr. Bonsu-Kyeretwie laid out his immediate electoral priorities, which include working tirelessly to secure victory for the NPP's 2028 presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, while ensuring that all 47 parliamentary candidates in the Ashanti Region win their respective seats. He expressed confidence that disciplined organization, stronger grassroots mobilization, and committed leadership would position the NPP to reclaim power in the next general election.
