Accra: Entertainment critic Nana Frimpong Ziega has controversially declared that watching adult content is not a bad practice, particularly for couples. During a discussion on UTV’s United Showbiz on July 4, 2026, Ziega encouraged married partners to engage with such content together to enhance their relationship.
According to Ghana Web, Ziega emphasized the importance of shared experiences in relationships, arguing that watching adult content alone misses the opportunity for mutual learning and improvement. He stated, “Watching adult content isn’t a bad thing, but you should watch it with your wife so both of you can learn new things together and spice up your relationship.”
Ziega also urged men, especially those over the age of 40, to prioritize intimacy despite busy schedules. He advised that sexual intercourse should occur at least twice a week as a means of maintaining a healthy relationship. “Every man should have sex at least twice a week, especially once you’re over 40,” he argued, highlighting the importance of regular intimacy.
He further explained that adult content serves an educational purpose, claiming that not everyone is fully knowledgeable about sexual intercourse. Ziega suggested that the production of such content aims to educate individuals on engaging in intercourse correctly, beyond just generating revenue.
Additionally, Ziega shared an anecdote about a marriage counsellor he knows in Kumasi who reportedly recommends adult content to couples on their final day of counselling. This practice, according to Ziega, is meant to address intimacy issues that many couples face after marriage, potentially preventing marital challenges.
