Strait of hormuz: The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported a vessel attack in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, resulting in injuries to one crew member.
According to Ghana News Agency, UKMTO received a report indicating that the vessel was struck by an unknown projectile while it was conducting an outbound transit through the Strait of Hormuz. This impact led to damage in the engine room and caused a casualty among the crew.
The Omani Coast Guard is providing assistance to the remaining crew members. The statement also confirmed that there have been no reports of environmental impact following the incident.
