Accra: Traditional priest Kwaku Bonsam has disclosed an intriguing trend, revealing that a significant number of married women seek his assistance for spiritual help, commonly referred to as 'juju.' The priest shared these insights during an appearance on Joy Prime's 'Let's Talk' on May 5, 2026. He highlighted that the primary motivation for these visits is the desire of women to sustain their marriages amidst challenges posed by young school girls who are reportedly enticing their husbands away.
According to Ghana Web, Kwaku Bonsam stated, "Women come more. Looking at the statistics, about 25 married women visit me every day. Most of them want their partners to love them so much. These days, young school girls are snatching people's husbands." The traditional priest emphasized that while spiritual intervention is sought, the importance of physical appearance and self-care in relationships is often underestimated.
Kwaku Bonsam elaborated on his perspective by advising women to focus on enhancing their appearance to regain their partners' attention. He remarked, "It's not the spiritual charm; it's the dressing, because she changed his hair, did the nails, wearing a sexy outfit." He believes that attention to personal grooming can naturally strengthen emotional bonds and help maintain relationships.
Despite advocating for self-care, Kwaku Bonsam also warned against relying solely on physical appearance within a marriage. He urged couples to prioritize character and emotional connection over looks, stating, "In marriage, you don't look at the physical. Look at the heart," and adding that "beauty fades with time while love and a good heart endure."
