Techiman South MP Commissions New Laboratory for Bamiri Health Centre

Accra: Mr Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah, Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency in the Bono East Region, has commissioned a fully equipped laboratory for the Bamiri Health Centre. He also presented vital medical devices and equipment to enhance quality healthcare delivery in the area.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Korsah stated during a ceremony at Bamiri that he funded the construction of the facility through his share of the MP's Common Fund. This initiative aims to improve the health status of residents and address emerging healthcare needs within the communities. The MP emphasized his commitment to prioritizing quality healthcare and vowed to continue investing in the provision of health infrastructure across the constituency.

Mr Korsah announced plans to construct similar facilities in other deprived communities to improve access to healthcare services. This move is intended to ensure that residents in remote areas also benefit from enhanced healthcare infrastructure.

Nana Asare Baffour, Chief of Bamiri, expressed his gratitude to the MP, highlighting that the new laboratory would help save lives and improve the general well-being of the people. He described the facility as a significant advancement in healthcare delivery in the area, marking a positive step towards reducing patient referrals.
