Team Legal Wives and Supporters Contribute GHS130,000 to Akosua Serwaa

Kumasi: Supporters of Daddy Lumba's legally married wife, Akosua Serwaa Fosu, have donated a sum of GHS130,000 to her as a show of appreciation for her role as a societal role model.

According to Ghana Web, a video circulating on social media and shared on Instagram shows the Team Legal Wives Group, along with His Royal, Ashanti Queen, and Lion Nation groups, presenting the donation to Akosua Serwaa's representative. The donation, in the form of a cheque, was presented on March 30, 2026, as a token of appreciation for her conduct following the passing of Daddy Lumba. The groups highlighted her influence as a role model to many across the globe.

During the presentation, a representative of the groups emphasized their gratitude and affection, stating, "We said there is no way we cannot celebrate our mother without showing something. So we came up with GHS130,000. We thank you and we will forever love you."

Receiving the donation on behalf of Akosua Serwaa was media personality and former beauty queen Adwoa Saah. She expressed deep gratitude to the donors, describing the gesture as a powerful symbol of unity and support. "We have seen the love and support Ghana has shown us and we thank you so much. Akosua Serwaa is seeing the love and is always praying for anyone that supports her," Adwoa Saah stated.

Adwoa Saah further encouraged supporters to focus on promoting understanding and compassion, urging them to avoid hurtful words. "We are not here to fight, we are just showing love," she emphasized.

This donation follows a Celebration of Life event for the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, widely known as Daddy Lumba, which was marked by legal and public disputes between rival family factions. Despite an injunction on the initial event, a subsequent Celebration of Life event was organized in honor of Akosua Serwaa on March 29.
