Tano North MP Enhances Bomaa Market Facilities with Pavement and Sheds

Bomaa: Dr Gideon Boako, the Member of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, has initiated a project to pave the Bomaa Market. This move aims to improve the market's conditions, facilitating smoother buying and selling experiences.

According to Ghana News Agency, Dr Boako also donated roofing sheets and materials necessary for constructing sheds for the market women. During a media address in Bomaa, Tano North Municipality, he mentioned the decision to pave the market was in response to complaints from traders about the dusty and muddy conditions that plagued the market during the dry and wet seasons.

Dr Boako emphasized the significant role traders play in local economic growth, highlighting the need to provide a conducive environment for their activities. He expressed optimism that the new pavement and sheds would boost economic activities, thereby enhancing the socio-economic well-being of the traders.

Market women, speaking to Ghana News Agency, conveyed their gratitude to the MP and encouraged community members to support and use the market facilities.
