Accra: Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was overwhelmed with emotions during his hang out with the daughter of his late friend Castro. In a video circulating online, a seemingly emotional Asamoah Gyan introduced the young lady, Roslyn, revealing that the last time he saw her, she was only two years old.
According to Ghana Web, Asamoah Gyan affectionately referred to Roslyn as “the daughter of Under Fire” and expressed his astonishment at how much she had grown, stating, “She’s a big girl now.” The reunion brought back memories of his friendship with the late rapper, prompting Gyan to admit, “I don’t want to be emotional, but it is what it is.”
The brief interaction has touched many Ghanaians on social media, with several people reflecting on the enduring bond between Asamoah Gyan and Castro. Castro disappeared in July 2014 while on a jet ski outing at Ada and was never officially declared dead, though many presume him to be deceased.
