Salaga: The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has commemorated Children's Day with a call on the government, parents, and communities to prioritize quality education, child protection, and access to basic services for every child in the country.
According to Ghana Web, addressing the House, the MP emphasized that children are the foundation of Ghana's future and underscored the importance of protecting their rights at all times. She urged stakeholders to combat pressing issues such as child labour, teenage pregnancy, and school dropouts, which continue to impact numerous children nationwide.
In her address, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah also reaffirmed her dedication to supporting schools in Salaga South. She promised to provide teaching and learning materials and to collaborate with the Ghana Education Service to enhance infrastructure in underprivileged communities.
"Every child deserves the chance to learn, play, and grow in a safe environment. As MP, I will continue to push for policies and resources that put our children first," she stated.
