Accra: The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has offered an explanation for the recent visit by Prophet Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, General Overseer of Spirit Life Revival Ministries, to his residence.
According to Ghana Web, the visit was primarily to address issues stemming from comments allegedly made by former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong. Rev Owusu-Bempah, speaking to his congregation on February 1, 2026, elaborated that Agyapong had purportedly stated his trust in only two pastors in Ghana: Prophet Elbernard and Rev Owusu-Bempah himself. This assertion was a central topic during their meeting.
Rev Owusu-Bempah mentioned, "Kennedy Agyapong is my good friend. Someone came to inform me that he had said he trusts only two pastors in Ghana, namely Prophet Elbernard Nelson-Eshun and myself." He further explained that Prophet Elbernard's visit was to discuss this issue and to request Rev Owusu-Bempah's assistance in quelling a matter that had become a subject of public discourse.
The meeting also involved Prophet Elbernard asking Rev Owusu-Bempah to disregard an issue that was sparking public debate. A photograph taken during the visit has been circulated, allegedly to create a misleading narrative. Rev Owusu-Bempah's comments follow public reactions to a failed prophecy by Prophet Elbernard, who had earlier predicted Kennedy Agyapong's victory in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.
