Dakar: The Basketball Africa League (BAL) and PUMA have announced a multiyear collaboration that designates PUMA as the Official Outfitter for the upcoming 2026 season. The partnership will see PUMA supplying game uniforms, warm-up gear, practice wear, accessories, and branded tops to all official BAL teams, as well as to fans and referees.
According to Ghana News Agency, the fanwear, embodying the essence of African basketball culture, will be available at BAL arenas and through the BAL's e-commerce store at BALstore.NBA.com. Mr. Amadou Gallo Fall, President of Basketball Africa League, expressed that this collaboration with PUMA is a testament to their mutual dedication to uplifting African sports, particularly basketball.
Mr. Johan Adamsson, Vice President of Sports Marketing and Sport Licensing at PUMA, stated that this partnership is a significant step in the company's mission to grow the game. He emphasized PUMA's aim to bring their performance technology to the forefront and to engage with BAL's global fanbase.
PUMA now stands among the league's partners, which include the Rwanda Development Board as a Foundational Partner, and Official Partners such as Afreximbank, Air Senegal, Amazon Web Services, Castle Lite, and RwandAir.
