Sefwi bodi: The Sefwi Bodi Methodist Church in the Sefwi Bekwai Diocese has commemorated the resurrection of Jesus Christ with a call on public servants to eschew self-serving attitudes and corruption.
According to Ghana News Agency, Reverend Stephen Acquah, Minister in charge of the Sefwi Bodi Methodist Church, delivered a sermon on the theme 'He Has Risen,' urging Christians to use the Easter celebration to resolve differences and show love to one another, describing these actions as the true hallmarks of Christianity. Rev Acquah emphasized the importance of showing love and resolving conflicts within the Christian community, especially during the Easter season.
"We always celebrate Easter, but brethren, let us use this year's celebration to show love to one another and the needy, and resolve all differences among ourselves as Christians," Rev Acquah stated. He also encouraged church members to regard Sundays as sacrificial days dedicated to worship rather than for personal activities, noting that many Christians prefer to engage in other activities on Sunday mornings, leading to late arrivals or absences from church services.
