Accra: A disturbing video has emerged on social media showing Prophet Badu Kobi, the founder of Glorious Wave Church International, reportedly unwell and lying on a hospital bed. The video, which has left netizens worried about his condition, was shared on X on August 11, 2026, depicting the prophet in an unnamed private health facility.
According to Ghana Web, Prophet Badu Kobi is said to have collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Fellow preacher Seer 1 General narrated that the incident occurred when Prophet Badu Kobi fainted after stepping out of his home. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for high blood pressure.
Seer 1 General further elaborated on the situation, explaining that Prophet Badu Kobi is unable to eat or drink and requires urgent assistance. The preacher has appealed to NDC officials, President John Dramani Mahama, and other party executives to provide the necessary support for Prophet Badu Kobi's treatment. He mentioned that the prophet's blood pressure has significantly increased due to recent events, and he is hopeful that with help, his condition could stabilize within a month or two.
