President Mahama Concludes Four-Day State Visit to Jamaica

Accra: President John Dramani Mahama has concluded his four-day state visit to Jamaica. He departed from the Norman Manley International Airport, where he was seen off by Madam Kamina Johnson Smith, the Jamaican Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

According to Ghana News Agency, the visit included high-level engagements that strengthened the partnership between Jamaica and Ghana. President Mahama's visit was strategically planned to coincide with Jamaica's Emancipation and Independence observances. The visit featured bilateral talks, a Joint Sitting of the Houses of Parliament, a State Dinner, and cultural engagements. Discussions were centered around advancing cooperation in various priority areas for both nations.
