Pollster Mussa Dankwah Denies Sole-Sourcing Allegations in Government Contract

Accra: Pollster Mussa Dankwah has publicly refuted claims of receiving a sole-sourced government contract under the current administration, a narrative circulated by some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members on social media. Dankwah confirmed he secured the contract but stated it was through a competitive tendering process.

According to Ghana Web, Dankwah addressed the issue in a social media post, expressing surprise at the allegations. He clarified, "I submitted a tender and won, and we have delivered on all project milestones while using my own money to pre-finance the project. I am still waiting to be paid." Dankwah emphasized that he only accepts projects that meet specific criteria and highlighted the project's potential positive impact on the country's youth.

Dankwah took pride in his team's achievements, noting that all project reports have been delivered, with discussions on the final report ongoing. He questioned critics about their contribution to the country, reiterating his commitment to delivering impactful work. "I am proud to be associated with this project, together with my team," he concluded.
