Kingston: President John Dramani Mahama has held bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Dr. Andrew Holness, as part of his state visit to the country. The meeting focused on strengthening relations between the two countries through cooperation in trade and investment, education, tourism, culture, agriculture, and other areas of mutual interest.
According to Ghana Web, the two leaders also reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening Africa-Caribbean partnerships and promoting closer collaboration on regional and global issues. President Mahama's visit marks a significant step in fostering closer ties and exploring new avenues for cooperation between Ghana and Jamaica.
