According to Ghana News Agency, the sanitary items, valued at GHC 50,000.00, include essential supplies such as dustbins, Veronica buckets, long brooms, liquid soap, and various cleaning materials. These items are intended to bolster sanitation efforts in the beneficiary schools, which comprise Nkonya M/A, Besease M/A, Brofoyedu Anglican, Ayanfuri D/A, and Fobinso D/A.

In tandem, Mr. Amatus Niminye, Acting General Manager of Perseus Mining Ghana Limited, urged students to focus on their studies and aim for excellence. He reassured them of their potential to achieve their goals, highlighting that their communities' future depends on their dedication and hard work.

Mr. Niminye further explained that this initiative is part of Perseus Mining's broader commitment to supporting education, promoting health, and empowering young pupils to confidently pursue their studies. He expressed hope that the intervention would help eliminate environmental diseases resulting from poor sanitation, which can hinder regular school attendance and academic success.
