Accra: Fashion entrepreneur Osebo the Zaraman has pledged his full support to Kwadwo Safo Akofena following the reading of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s will and the court proceedings surrounding his succession.
According to Ghana Web, Osebo disclosed that the late Apostle had clearly indicated in his will that his son, Kwadwo Safo Jnr, should lead the church, leaving no room for dispute. Osebo addressed the media after the Accra High Court hearing on July 6, 2026, stating, “When the will was read, he was the one who was chosen to lead the church. As Papa has spoken, as I said, my yes is yes, and my no is no. No one can destroy my mind. If Papa has spoken for all of us to hear, who am I not to agree with that?”
Osebo emphasized his commitment to supporting the will’s directives, stating, “If our father has willed all his properties to Akofena, I have no objections. We will all support him fully.” He further explained that he considers himself simply a member of the church and believes everyone should unite behind the decision made by the late founder.
“I’m just a member of the church. We will all support Kwadwo and do whatever is expected of us,” Osebo asserted. He noted that his current position aligns with his previous comments before the will’s contents were made public. “In one of my previous interviews, I said that when they reveal Papa’s will, and it states that he has given everything to Kwadwo, we will support him,” he shared.
Osebo highlighted the importance of maintaining peace within the church, insisting that no one has the authority to overturn the late founder’s wishes. “All we want is peace. He’s our father, and no one can make decisions for him. As he has said, he gave everything to Kwadwo Safo Akofena; we have nothing to say,” he added.
