Okaikwei Central MP Renews Commitment to Christian Council Ghana with Annual Water Donation

Okaikwei central: Mr Patrick Yaw Boamah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, has renewed his annual donation to the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) by providing 250 packs of bottled water. The donation, presented on Friday, fulfills the MP's pledge to support the Council's work each year.

According to Ghana News Agency, Nana Agyei Kodie, representing Mr Boamah, emphasized that the gesture demonstrates the MP's commitment to supporting faith-based institutions. The annual donation reflects his dedication to community and national service, aiming to assist the Christian Council of Ghana consistently.

Reverend Enoch Nii Narh Thompson, Chairman of the Christian Council Ghana, received the donation on behalf of the Council. He expressed gratitude for Mr Boamah's ongoing support, highlighting the importance of the contribution. Rev. Thompson stated, "On behalf of the Council, we want to say a big thank you to Honourable Patrick Boamah for his desire and commitment to support the work of the Council by providing water last year, this year, and we look forward to that being a pattern in the years to come."

Rev. Thompson further noted, "Water is life, and Ghana needs life. This symbolic donation will also encourage us in our prayers for the nation and for him." He assured the MP of the Council's continued prayers and counseling support whenever needed.

In 2025, the CCG recognized Mr Boamah's dedication by appointing him as Ambassador for the annual Christian Home Week Celebrations. This week-long event, organized by the Council, aims to promote the sanctity and purpose of marriage and family life in Ghana. Mr Boamah's appointment acknowledges his commitment to promoting the welfare of families and communities through his philanthropic initiatives.
