Accra: Lawyer and former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has criticised the Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, over his recent poll on the NPP.
According to Ghana Web, Mussa Dankwah recently released a poll suggesting that NPP voters no longer find the party attractive. However, Obiri Boahen has taken offence at the claim, describing the poll as far-fetched and disconnected from reality.
Obiri Boahen argued that members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) themselves are complaining about the government's performance, making it illogical for the poll to suggest otherwise. Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on March 23, 2026, he claimed that any ordinary citizen knows that what Mussa Dankwah is saying is false.
He questioned the validity of the poll, stating, "He doesn't know what he is saying by claiming the NPP is no longer attractive. I don't believe any mature or level-headed person will pay attention or give credence to this publication."
Obiri Boahen further remarked, "Which mature person will believe that the NPP is not attractive? Even a kindergarten child won't accept this because water bills are rising, electricity prices are going up, and the cost of living is increasing."
He concluded by stating, "The country is becoming difficult, so I don't know why he would even say this."
