Berekum: Mr Desmond Asaase Sabala, the Bono Regional Director of the National Youth Authority (NYA), has urged a decisive and unified approach to responsibly nurturing the youth. He emphasized the importance of concerted efforts in developing disciplined, responsive, patriotic, and selfless young individuals who can contribute significantly to sustainable national development.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Sabala made this call during a worship and thanksgiving service marking the culmination of the 2026 National Youth Month celebration organized by the NYA in Berekum, Bono Region. He highlighted the NYA's commitment to investing in the moral, spiritual, and civic development of young people, noting that these efforts are crucial for building a resilient and prosperous nation for everyone.
The service, held at the Berekum Area of The Church of Pentecost, gathered personnel from the Authority, church members, and sections of the public to collectively pray for the youth, the nation, and the government.
