The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is optimistic about winning the 2024 general elections with the current crop of experienced and dedicated leadership.
Director of External Affairs of the party, Frederick Kofi Ameyaw was of the notion the new leadership blended with old ones have what it takes to make it a reality.
In an interview with this reporter, Mr. Kofi Ameyaw indicated that the NPP is poised to break the 8-years political jinx of the country and therefore takes the 2024 elections seriously in order to ensure the party win the presidential polls massively.
“It is not about just winning the presidency but also ensuring we secure more seats in Parliament to support government business in the House. We need to work hard as a party to make all our dreams a reality.” he indicated.
Mr. Kofi Ameyaw however, called on all party supporters as well as Ghanaians to support and work hard to retain the NPP in power to ensure all projects and programmes initiated are fully completed.
He said “I am urging all Ghanaians, especially party supporters to work hard by campaigning on the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led administration and also assure them of many to come in the next NPP administration in 2025. Let us capitalise on what the NPP has done since 2016 and let the ordinary Ghanaian know our achievements”.
