NPP Canada Organizer Yakubu Alhassan Pledges Fact-Based Defense of Bawumia’s Record

Toronto: NPP Canada Branch Organizer Yakubu Alhassan, popularly known as BigMo, has pledged to defend the record of former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, insisting that the party will rely on facts rather than insults in responding to criticism. Speaking in an official statement issued by the NPP Canada Branch, Alhassan said the time had come for the party to more strongly communicate what he described as Bawumia's achievements and contributions during his tenure as Vice President.

According to Ghana Web, Alhassan expressed disappointment with the administration of President John Mahama, accusing the government of failing to fulfill promises made to Ghanaians during the 2024 general election. He emphasized that the debate over Ghana's development should focus on policies, measurable achievements, and the ability of political leaders to build systems that deliver sustainable results.

Alhassan stated, "Bawumia is not a talkative. NPP builds systems that work and Bawumia represents innovation and jobs." His comments come amid continued political debate over the performance and legacy of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration and the direction of the current government.
