Tema:The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Tema West Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Issah, has criticized his Member of Parliament (MP), James Enu, for allegedly neglecting to engage with constituency executives. Issah emphasized the importance of these executives in promoting and securing support for an MP within the constituency.
According to Ghana Web, Issah warned that Enu's political fortunes could be jeopardized if he continues to prioritize a group of individuals over the elected party executives. During an appearance on Metro TV's Good Afternoon Ghana, Issah expressed concern over Enu's reliance on what he described as a ‘cabal’ rather than the constituency's official leadership.
Issah alleged that the individuals in this 'cabal' were not part of the constituency executive members but seemed to have more access to the MP than the local party leadership. He mentioned complaints from several people about difficulties in reaching Enu by phone and admitted his own struggles to contact the MP, despite being the constituency chairman.
Issah underscored his commitment to supporting Enu's success but urged the MP to address the concerns raised. He noted that while the party executives were aware of the issues, it was ultimately Enu's responsibility to resolve them.
