National Chief Imam Inaugurates Nurturing Centre at Bamba International Academy

Accra: The national Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu, inaugurated the ultra-modern Nurturing Centre of Bamba International Academy's Accra branch on April 25, 2026. The facility aims to integrate Arabic academic studies with spiritual, moral, and social training to prepare responsible future generations.

According to Ghana Web, the Nurturing Centre is an extension of the Tamale Bamba International Academy and is situated in the Amamole community within the Ga North Municipality of the Greater Accra Region. The founder and Proprietor of the Academy, Sheikh Imam Mohammed Amin Bamba, stated that the center's mission is to provide a holistic approach to early childhood development grounded in Islamic principles.

During his address, Sheikh Imam Mohammed Amin Bamba urged individuals and organizations focused on community development and skill enhancements to reassess and change direction every five years. The inauguration was marked by prayers and appreciation for this significant initiative.

Several distinguished Islamic Scholars, technocrats, and the Member of Parliament for Gusheigu, Hon. Alhassan Tampuli, attended the event. In their solidarity messages, they commended Sheikh Amin Bamba's vision and called for support to ensure the Nurturing Centre's success and sustainability. The aim is to cultivate children who are bold, confident, compassionate, and positive-minded.
