Muslims in Sefwi Bodi Gather for Eid-ul-Fitr Prayers Led by District Chief Imam

Sefwi bodi: Muslims in the Bodi District convened to observe Eid-ul-Fitr with prayers led by the District Chief Imam, Allaji Suan Alasan Gbade. The communal gathering marked the conclusion of Ramadan and was an opportunity for reflection and unity.

According to Ghana News Agency, Imam Allaji Suan Alasan Gbade's message emphasized the importance of compassion, forgiveness, and unity, which are key values promoted during the holy month of Ramadan. He encouraged the Muslim community to use Eid-ul-Fitr as a time to strengthen family ties and extend kindness to those in need.

Mr. Stephen Baidoo, the Bodi District Chief Executive, expressed the Assembly's commitment to the development of Zongo communities within the district. He praised the Muslim community for their dedication during the fasting period and recognized their contributions to the district's development.

The DCE highlighted the necessity of peaceful coexistence, noting that development flourishes best in an environment of harmony. Mr. Baidoo reassured residents of the District Assembly's dedication to enhancing infrastructure, education, and healthcare, urging them to support governmental initiatives and work towards collective progress.

"As we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, let us remember that unity is our greatest strength, and together, we can build a better and more prosperous district," Mr. Baidoo stated.
