According to Ghana News Agency, Hajia Suleiman made these remarks during the closing session of the 28th Annual National Women's Conference of the wing held at Amasaman in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater-Accra Region. The four-day conference, themed 'Preserving Islamic values as women in the contemporary world towards national development', served as a platform for discussing the role of Islamic values in the modern world.
Hajia Suleiman urged Muslim women and girls to uphold Islamic teachings in their careers, highlighting that education and professional success should not come at the expense of their faith and values. She expressed the wing's commitment to mobilizing Muslim women as agents of change, focusing on spiritual growth, intellectual development, economic empowerment, social responsibility, and national consciousness.
The National Secretary underscored the wing's role in demonstrating that Muslim women are active contributors to development, not just beneficiaries. By supporting vulnerable groups and initiatives such as the Ramadan Prison Inmates Feeding Project, the women's wing has consistently shown compassion and solidarity with those in need.
