Accra: Entertainment enthusiast MC Yaa Yeboah has weighed in on the ongoing dispute between Afua Asantewaa and her husband. She has criticised the Guinness World Record contender's approach to handling her marital issues.
According to Ghana Web, Yaa Yeboah acknowledged Afua's right to express frustration but argued that escalating private matters on social media is inappropriate. She emphasised that, regardless of the challenges in the marriage, Afua's husband remains the father of her three children and should not be publicly disrespected.
MC Yeboah further noted that Afua could have addressed the matter in a single letter, as she eventually did, instead of giving social media the mandate to drag her private life into the public domain. She remarked that the attention given to such personal matters on social media is unnecessary and often counterproductive.
Yeboah also highlighted the repercussions of sharing marital disputes online, pointing out that it invites public commentary and potentially harmful scrutiny. She cautioned against using social media as an outlet for venting frustration, especially when it involves sensitive issues like marital disputes.
