Accra: Media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has joined numerous Ghanaians in expressing concern over a viral video that shows 12-year-old content creator Adobea allegedly consuming alcohol. The video, which emerged on social media on September 1, 2026, depicts the young creator at a pub with a woman believed to be her caretaker, engaging in drinking and dancing activities.
According to Ghana Web, MC Yaa Yeboah has reacted to the widespread online discussions by demanding a thorough investigation into the matter. She emphasized that if the allegations of Adobea consuming alcohol are substantiated, the video should not be trivialized as mere content creation or a social media stunt.
MC Yeboah further elaborated on the potential implications, stating that despite Adobea's mature appearance and demeanor, her age signifies a crucial phase in her physical, emotional, and psychological development. She cautioned that exposure to alcohol at such a tender age could lead to significant adverse effects on her well-being.
Additionally, MC Yeboah urged the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection to launch an inquiry into the incident. She highlighted the importance of addressing supervision, safeguarding, and the accountability of adults responsible for the child's welfare, particularly in public settings where alcohol consumption is involved.
