Kwahu: President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday received former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Kwahu Easter Celebration in the Eastern Region. This visit marks a reciprocation of a similar gesture by President Mahama during the 2025 edition of the event.
According to Ghana News Agency, President Mahama was in Kwahu over the weekend to address the Kwahu Business Forum, taking place at the Kwahu Convention Centre in Mpraeso. The forum is part of the annual Easter celebrations that draw significant attention to the region.
For almost two decades, former President Akufo-Addo has made it a tradition to visit Kwahu during the sacred period of Easter, demonstrating his ongoing connection to the community and its festivities.
