Houston: It has been eight days since the astronauts of Artemis II made their historic visit to the Moon. The four astronauts traveled farther from Earth than anyone in history, surpassing the 1970 record set by Apollo 13 during its Moon mission.
According to Ghana Web, the spacecraft reached its maximum distance from Earth for this mission, estimated at about 252,756 miles, according to NASA. The crew includes NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
