Kumasi: Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has offered advice to Ashanti Regional Minister Frank Amoakohene following his recent back-and-forth on social media with broadcaster Paul Adom-Otchere. In a video shared on social media and sighted by GhanaWeb on April 15, 2026, Kwaku Manu stated that the regional minister should be cautious in his responses to criticism, considering his position and the region he represents.
According to Ghana Web, the actor emphasized the importance of the Ashanti Region, describing it as the second capital of Ghana. He noted that if appointments were based on age, the minister might not have qualified for the role. Kwaku Manu urged the minister to be mindful of how he reacts to critics, highlighting the significance of Kumasi, which is led by King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Kwaku Manu also pointed out the potential discontent among some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with Frank Amoakohene's appointment. He cautioned the minister to tread carefully, as some individuals may be eyeing his position. Furthermore, Kwaku Manu expressed his dissatisfaction with the minister's recent response to criticism, where he publicized his academic credentials and challenged others. The actor advised that such actions were unnecessary for someone in a prominent role.
