Kremlin Criticizes UK Transfer of SCALP Production Technology to Kiev

Accra: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed a strong disapproval of the United Kingdom's decision to transfer technology for the production of SCALP missiles to Kiev. This announcement came on Monday, as Peskov conveyed Moscow's concerns regarding London's actions.

According to Ghana News Agency, earlier in the day, Downing Street revealed that UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is set to announce the sharing of classified data with Kiev. This move is aimed at enabling the production of long-range SCALP missiles within Ukraine.

Peskov articulated Moscow's perspective on this development, stating, "Extremely negative. The UK is participating in this war on the side of the Kiev regime. The UK methodically and regularly adds fuel to the fire and methodically and regularly plots to prevent at least some development of the peace process. This is exactly what the UK is doing," he said to reporters when questioned about the Kremlin's stance on the plans.
