Krachi East MCE Initiates Construction of Modern Toilet Facility at T.I. Ahmadiyya School

Krachi east: The Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Safo Nketia, has taken steps to improve sanitation at the T.I. Ahmadiyya Basic School by spearheading the construction of a six-unit modern water closet toilet facility. This move is aimed at enhancing sanitation and creating a healthier learning environment for students and staff.

According to Ghana News Agency, the existing toilet facility at the school was in a state of disrepair and deemed unfit for use, prompting Mr. Nketia to initiate the construction of a modern replacement. This initiative is expected to address significant sanitation issues, promoting the well-being and academic performance of both pupils and staff.

The Headmaster of T.I. Ahmadiyya Basic School, Mr. Paul Nachipu Isor, expressed gratitude to the MCE for prioritizing the school's needs. He conveyed that the school management and community were pleased with the development, which is anticipated to greatly improve the school's sanitation and learning environment.

Mr. Isor also appealed to the MCE and the Member of Parliament, Mr. Nelson Kofi Djabab, for assistance with classroom infrastructure. He highlighted the challenges faced by students and staff due to inadequate classroom facilities and urged the authorities to address the school's pressing need for improved learning spaces.
