Tema: The Korea Maritime Institute, in partnership with the Ghana Fisheries Commission, is seeking bids for Facility Repair Works and Phase 2 Supply and Installation of Equipment and Materials for the 2026 Ghanaian Women's Fish Processing and Distribution Capacity Building Project near the Tema Fishing Harbour. This initiative aims to enhance fish processing, hygiene, and storage facilities for women in the fishery sector of Ghana.
According to Ghana Web, bidding will be conducted through an open competition tender, with technical services awarded by negotiation. Eligible companies must meet the qualifications outlined in the bid documents, which are available upon request.
The scope of work includes the construction and renovation of fish processing facilities, encompassing repair works on the site and the procurement and installation of equipment and materials. The project is set to commence with a duration extending to December 31, 2026.
The budget for this project is KRW 510,000,000, which is inclusive of VAT and all other costs. Eligibility criteria specify that companies must possess construction or architectural licenses, either Korean or equivalent Ghanaian qualifications, capable of performing construction and supervision of goods and services in Ghana.
Proposals are required to be submitted by 4 am GMT (1 pm KST) on September 28, 2026, through registered mail. Late submissions or those presented in person will not be accepted.
