Accra: Reverend Kojo Odame, Executive Director of Kojo Odame Mission Assin (KOMA), in collaboration with KOMA Obaatanpa, has honoured 400 women in Assin Akrofuom, located in the Assin South District of the Central Region. The women received items including half pieces of cloth, branded aprons, and cash, with the total value of the donations amounting to GHS85,000.
According to Ghana News Agency, Reverend Odame made the presentation during a meeting with the women's wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Akrofuom. This initiative is part of KOMA Obaatanpa's ongoing commitment to give back to society and support vulnerable groups. Rev Odame emphasized the importance of recognizing the strength, wisdom, and potential of every woman to shape their communities and the nation positively.
Reverend Odame highlighted that through guidance, mentorship, and practical support, the confidence of women in Assin would be bolstered, enabling them to become morally grounded and socially impactful. In addition to distributing the items, he engaged with the women, fostering a sense of belonging and reaffirming their recognition and appreciation.
The recipients expressed their gratitude to Reverend Odame and extended their best wishes for his future endeavors.
