Ghana: Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has won the Best Highlife Song of the Year award at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA 2026).
According to Ghana Web, Kinaata beat competition from King Paluta, Foko, Kwabena Kwabena ft Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata with Asor Remix, Amerado, Obi Adi, and Kuami Eugene to claim the coveted award on May 10, 2026, with his song 'It is Finished'.
The 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards has attracted excitement and expectations from music lovers across the country, as hardworking musicians are being honoured for their achievements in 2025.
However, all eyes remain on the night's biggest award, Artiste of the Year, which features strong competition from Medikal, Black Sherif, Wendy Shay, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Diana Hamilton. The TGMA27 is currently ongoing on May 10, 2026.
