Accra: Two musicians, Pappy Kojo and Keche Joshua, who have been at odds on social media for a couple of years, have recently crossed paths professionally, as Keche Joshua made a cameo appearance in Pappy Kojo's newly released music video for 'Customer.'
According to Ghana Web, Keche Joshua revealed in an interview on MX24 TV that despite previous disagreements with Pappy Kojo, he accepted the cameo role as part of his work. He disclosed receiving GHS80,000 for his appearance in the 'Customer' music video. Joshua explained that there was no interaction with Pappy after completing his part, as it was a strictly business arrangement. 'I was paid GHS80,000. So when I finished my part, I just left. I didn't even talk to him; I was just there for business,' he said.
Keche also discussed their approach to music, emphasizing their preference for creating songs that are easy for fans to sing along to. They noted that, given the existing pressure and challenges people face, musicians should aim to produce simple and enjoyable music. 'If you are a musician and you're doing it for the people all the time, just get them something very simple for them to sing along,' the duo stated.
Keche referenced Joey B's new song 'News at 7' as an example of a song with a compelling storyline that he appreciates, although he admitted to struggling with learning the lyrics.
