Keche Discusses Longevity and Purpose at 2026 TGMAs Nominee Unveiling

Accra: Ghanaian music duo Keche has shared insight into their enduring presence in the music scene, revealing what continues to drive them after nearly a decade of consistent appearances at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs). Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb's Issac Dadzie during the nominee unveiling of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, a member of the group, Keche Joshua, reflected on their journey and commitment to their art.

According to Ghana Web, Keche Joshua discussed their lasting relevance in the industry, attributing it to a steadfast commitment to entertainment. He highlighted that while some artists may see the industry as a temporary phase or stepping stone, Keche views it as a lifelong mission. This dedication, they believe, is evident in their continuous presence and contributions to the music scene.

Keche Joshua further elaborated on their intent to remain active in music for decades, confidently stating their aim to continue performing until the age of 68. Expressing gratitude towards their supporters, he encouraged fans to anticipate significant local and international collaborations, as well as new albums in 2026.
