‘Jude is the Cause of All This’ – Elder Brother Wades into P-Square Family Rift

Lagos: Henry Okoye, an elder brother of P-Square's Peter and Paul Okoye, has waded into the renewed dispute involving the music group and their elder brother, Jude Okoye. In an interview shared by Nigerian blog Sabi Updates on TikTok, Henry claimed that the problems within the Okoye family began after Jude became the manager of Peter and Paul when their music career started taking off.

According to Ghana Web, Henry explained that he was initially the one supporting the twins financially and helping them navigate the early stages of their career. "I was the one taking them across the country in my car for auditions and talent shows and tours. I was printing flyers and distributing them," he shared. Henry also mentioned that their sister, Lilian, was involved in managing finances, while he was responsible for driving and security.

Henry alleged that Jude only became involved after Peter and Paul began making money from music and expressed an interest in managing them. He claimed their mother, the late Josephine Okoye, initially opposed Jude becoming the twins' manager because she allegedly knew his character. "Initially our mum resisted, she said she knew the kind of person Jude was. But it took one of our other siblings to plead for him," he shared.

Henry further alleged that Peter and Paul began distancing themselves from the rest of the family after Jude took over their management. "Everything that has been happening is because of Jude," he reportedly said, accusing his brother of creating a division within the family. He also claimed that Jude has not spoken to him for years and did not check on him when he was hospitalised for two months.

"Jude is not a good person. He is very bad. We haven't spoken for years," Henry stated. He also expressed concern about changes he believes he has noticed in Paul's behaviour, saying the P-Square member was previously the "nicest person" in the family. "I don't know whether Jude did something to him, but he has changed completely," he added.

Jude served as P-Square's manager during the duo's rise to prominence and has been repeatedly drawn into disputes involving the twins. The latest comments from Henry come amid a renewed public fallout between Peter, Paul, and Jude, with the brothers trading allegations over their music business and family relationship.
