Accra: Presidential Staffer Bridget Otoo has jumped to the defence of Deputy Attorney General Dr Justice Srem-Sai following recent remarks made about him by Paul Adom-Otchere during a live broadcast. In a video shared on social media, Paul Adom-Otchere, while hosting his Good Evening Ghana programme, mocked the Deputy Attorney General for posting a photo of himself in an elevator, describing it as embarrassing.
According to Ghana Web, Bridget Otoo responded to these comments by advising Dr Justice Srem-Sai to disregard what she termed as 'inconsequential commentary'. She emphasized that he should remain focused on the significant legal cases he is handling and not be swayed by what she characterized as trivial criticism.
Bridget Otoo also compared Dr Justice Srem-Sai to former National Security Minister Kan Dapaah in a veiled manner. She suggested that Srem-Sai is in a much better position than the former minister, who was infamously seen in a viral video wearing pyjamas. 'This is better than a National Security Minister being ordered around like a JHS pupil in his pyjamas,' she remarked.
In her statements, Otoo underscored the importance of focusing on substantial work rather than being distracted by negative commentary, reinforcing her support for Dr Justice Srem-Sai amidst the public discourse initiated by Adom-Otchere.
