Jarvis Clarifies Monetary Requests from Husband as Lesson in Partnership

Lagos: Nigerian content creator Jarvis has explained that her constant money demands are not driven by dependency but are meant to help her husband, Peller, understand his responsibilities as a partner.

According to Ghana Web, the content creator, who is speculated to be pregnant, revealed that although she remains strong, hardworking, and financially independent, marriage has changed the dynamics of her relationship, and she wants Peller to understand that she should not always have to ask before receiving support from him.

Jarvis emphasized that her requests are not solely about financial support but rather a broader lesson in partnership. She stated, "I'm very strong; with what I'm going through, I'm still strong. Very, very hardworking. I do the cooking, I do a lot of things, but something little helps. It's not money. Most people think it's money, but just because I talk about money doesn't mean I'm always about money. I'm still the independent lady I was when I was single. I'm still working; I'm still a career lady."

She further elaborated on the shift in dynamics after marriage, "Now we are married. I'm your wife. You should know how to give to your wife without asking. I'm not asking you to give because I don't have; that is what you need to learn."

Jarvis added, "So you see that mentality of Jarvis is a hardworking girl. She has her own money. No, no, bro, leave that money now; take care of me. I'm now your babe," she said. Despite being pregnant, she continues to manage household tasks, emphasizing that Peller needs to adjust his approach and understand the nuances of supporting her without her having to explicitly ask for it.
